I was lucky enough to pick this collection up from Netgalley in return for a honest review and it was definitely worth the read!! Denise pulls you in from the very beginning with her gripping tale of the gods and demons versus 2 innocent humans who have been tasked with protecting the world. There is a lot of Native American History in these stories and the author presents her facts in very knowledgeable way which makes the story feel even more real to the readers. I felt for the main characters in this story particularly Collin who I felt was hiding a lot of emotion behind his tough man exterior. Thoroughly enjoyed reading the stories and I couldn't put it down! Well worth the price and the time to read it and I cannot wait to see where the story goes from here.
