This was a very well written short story which the author did amazingly to fit in so much detail and description of everything, that in itself gave this the 4 stars as its not an easy feat to fit such a large amount of description into so few pages. However I do not think I have disliked a main character as much in any book before! Cheating is present in plenty of books, but there is always a stated reason for the betrayal i.e an unhappy marriage etc which doesn't make it right but shows some explanation for the actions. From what is stated there is nothing wrong with the main characters relationship and he loves his wife and has a happy marriage, so the reason for him to behave the way he does shocked me and made me automatically dislike him as a character, especially when his wife was waiting for him downstairs. I also felt there was a lot of questions left unanswered for example he was in the flat above the one he shared with his wife, did she hear them? would he continue the affair? I would be interested in reading the next installment in the hope that these questions may be answered.

All of these are at least in the same rural county in the southern hills of New York State; Cortland County. There are more cattle than people here. The nearest “big” cities are Syracuse and Binghamton and they are an hour away, in different directions, and not really all that big by most standards, though they both seem humongous to me. I look out my window to see rolling, green, thickly forested hills, wildflower laden meadows and wide open blue, blue skies. My road is barely paved. I loved Evo when we first saw her in M-Day, she was the kind of person I thought I could be friends with. Sure she was a little rough around the edges but this chick would give it to you straight. The Evo we get in E-day is very much the same person but oh so much more.

I worried that adding a love interest to Evo's story would soften her to the point of no return, but I am pleased to say if anything it only made Evo dig her heels in and raise her bitch level.. Evo in E-day kicks ass.

This is still the same world that Dyllin gave us in M-Day but she has made a few changes. Like the I-Men who are more than the others, who are able to think and plot. Which means the things we thought we knew about I-Men don't hold true any longer.

Once again Dyllin delivers with a story that draws the reader in from the first few pages, with Evo's honest evaluation of herself it's almost impossible to not keep reading, I myself read this in one sitting because I could not tear myself away. This book has it all.. action, terror, love, laughter and heartache. A book not to be missed.

A fantastic collaboration between 2 authors. I am a huge Rene Folsom fan and would read anything of hers in a heartbeat, but I had never come across any of Juli Valenti's work before and I was amazed at who well they had managed to combine their writing as it all meshed so well together.

As always this is another superb short story which will be part of a series of short books. The characters are well written and easy to connect with, and there is enough detail to be sucked in despite it being short. Cari and Josh have been married for twelve years but refuse to let there relationship turn stale and keep things 'Adventurous'. I and many readers out there are in hope that our relationships can be this adventurous after 12 years of marriage! I cannot wait to see what the rest of the series holds in store for Cari and Josh.

A good ending to a good series, this sees the trio once again having to deal with threats to Peri and trying to keep her and their unborn child safe. Lots of unexpected twists and turns in this installment that you don't expect which keeps you turning the page to find out more.

Sad to see this series come to an end but happy the way it ended. I wont say too much as I don't want to post any spoilers. I Would recommend these books to anyone looking for a good series to get stuck in to.

Raven’s head tilted to the side and his eyes captured every part of me with finite detail. My breathing stilled and the incessant hunger that was building inside of me begged for release. I took a deep breath and counted backwards from five, pacing the beats of my heart. “I’ve been dreaming about you kissing me since the day I met you.”

Another great installment to the Marked Men series! Words cannot express how much I totally love this series! This story of Jet and Ayden, was brilliant even though at times I felt I wanted to scream at Ayden for her actions but at the same time I could totally understand why she did what she did! Such an unlikely couple but so totally lovable at the same time! Another book in this series I literally couldn't put down!

Claire's Review 4 of 5 Stars
This is quite a difficult review for me to write. Although I enjoyed the book and the story I felt I had trouble connecting with the characters, and felt Peri changed from being a girl who knew how to look after herself and a strong person to quite a weak individual who needed Gabe and Josef to look after her, and I felt she lost the appeal she had as a strong female heroine. I would have also loved to have seen more of other characters play more of a stronger role as they their presence in the story didn't really add to it.

However I did really enjoy the book and was sucked into Peri's story and the revenge she wanted to have with her father, as well as the growing relationships with Josef and Gabe. I will be interested to see what happens next after the ending of book 2.
