Healer Review

Healer

Healer by B.N Toler

Synopsis

There is a balance in life most know nothing about. Some are put here to simply exist, while others have been placed here to ensure life. Healers, such as Aldo Lawson understand the power of their gift, although at times, it seems more a curse. Upon meeting a handsome young healer named Thomas, Aldo's life heads into a tailspin. With his arrival, Aldo's aunt, the woman who raised her, is forced to share a hard and scary truth--vampires exist. And not only do they exist, but they thirst for healer blood.

Despite this new and frightening information, Aldo longs for a normal senior year, and she's determined to have it. So close to achieving her goal, her world is turned upside down when her aunt is murdered and Thomas disappears. Riddled with questions, she sets out to find him.

Submerged in a world filled with sex and danger, Aldo hopes to find the vampires that will lead her to Thomas. When they find her first, she is forced to piece together truths, deal with her pain, and finds that not everything is what it seems.

Lisa's Review - 2.5 out of 5 stars

In Healer, we meet Aldo, a young woman with the gift to use heal the injured. It is not always a gift though, and she has to face a life hiding from vampires who love the taste of a healers blood.

The first half of this book I really struggled with. It jumps constantly from past to present, and I found it hard to keep up with which parts of the story I was reading, and whether it was 'real life' or in one of Aldo's dreams, which we see a lot of. Mid way through the book, the chapters stop switching between past and present and I then found it easier to concentrate on the story. I would have probably found it easier to get into the story had the past all been covered in one go before moving on to the present.

There were some good parts of the story and I liked the fact that Aldo had these healing powers and that the spin on the vampires is much different to any of the vampire characters we have at the moment. I enjoyed that it was something different and think there were some really good plot ideas, I just wished the author had taken them in a different direction.

It was really hard throughout the book to figure out who was a good guy and who wasn't, and even by the end, even though I had Thomas figured out, I wasn't so sure on Rhett. They are interesting enough characters but I felt there were many unanswered questions about them both.

Just as I found the story really beginning to pick up and I thought it was going somewhere I might enjoy, there was a big twist at the end and I have to say that even though it was unexpected, I really didn't like it. I understand that the book is left open for book 2 but I wish there had been another chapter added which, without giving away the ending, could have improved it a great deal for me personally.

I will read the next instalment of this book out of interest to see where the author will take it, but I did find Healer pretty difficult to get into.

The Will to Love Cover Reveal

The Will to Love Cover

add-to-goodreads-button31

Synopsis

“I wasn’t looking for love, only a good time and a way to tour the world with a rock band when he came along and hit me like a hurricane. Nothing could have prepared for me for the complexity that was Will Cullen. He hid a secret that would devour me whole and spit me out. The only problem I had was how did I let go when I decided to give my heart to the very man I would never be able to control and who would always be just beyond my reach?” – Laurel Munsen

Will Cullen has always been comfortable in his own skin, even it was behind the scenes as the bass player for Scarlet Fever. He’s always known he was gay and accepted his sexuality even if he couldn’t be out and proud as a member of one of the most popular rock bands in the world.

Laurel was supposed to be a diversion, a beard to hide behind while he and his lover, drummer Grant MacMullen, continued their hot and heavy relationship. Grant breaks his heart and admits there can never be a future between them.

It is Laurel who picks up the pieces and although he knows what they have together is wrong and conforming to society’s standards of what love supposed to be, how can he rectify his strong attraction and desire for men while he is falling in love with a woman?

Both Laurel and Will learn the fluidity of human emotions and together, they gather the strength and courage to live life, understand each other and love with heart, body, mind and soul.

Note: This story is about a homosexual man who happens to fall in love with a heterosexual woman but it does not negate his homosexual status nor is the author implying sexuality is a choice; rather that most of the time, we don’t and cannot choose the person we fall in love with and decide to give our heart and soul.

Ever Wrath ARC review

Ever Wrath (A Dark Faerie Tale, #4)Ever Wrath by Alexia Purdy

Book synopsis

There is no hope.

Only blood and darkness await.

Shade rules as Queen of the Seelie Summer Court with her love, a Teleen Faerie named Dylan at her side. But, the dark court of Unseelie faeries will do everything in their power to rule the earth, including enslaving the human world. Arthas, the Unseelie Ancient King, has shattered the boundaries of Faerie and the human cities are filling with his evil, unearthly armies.

Old enemies become allies. New friends bring old secrets and an ancient magic to light. Alongside the Ancient Seelie Queen, Kilara, Shade needs to harness this wild magic before the lines between human and faery are forever destroyed.

Shona's review  4 of 5 stars

I fell in love with Shade's story a long time ago, each instalment cant come fast enough. When I first read Ever Shade in August if 2012 I was amazed at how different Purdy's Faerie world was compared to others I had read. In a genre where books can seem very samey Shade's story stands out as completely unique, and that is something that has continued with Ever Wrath.

Shade has grown so much since we first meet her in Ever Shade, she's almost unrecognisable. The girl who tried to ignore the voices in her head now embraces the knowledge and comfort those voices bring to her. She has gone from a 'normal girl who hears voices' to a kick ass faerie queen who seems to be getting stronger at every turn.

Purdy has written an entire series that you can truly sink your teeth into, one that hasn't lost its lustre as the series has progressed.Ever Wrath is the complete package, it is a non stop adventure, filled with betrayals, alliances, surprises and love. And an ending that really truly feels like an ending, despite the fact that some things are left unresolved. But don't fret, I have a feeling that we may still get the answers we seek in the Dark Faerie Spin Off Series

Lover Unbound (Black Dagger Brotherhood #5) Review

6520996  Lover Unbound (Black Dagger Brotherhood #5) by J.R Ward

  Synopsis

In Caldwell, New York, war rages between vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret band of brothers-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Now the cold heart of a cunning predator will be warmed against its will...

Ruthless and brilliant, Vishous, son of the Bloodletter, possesses a destructive curse and a frightening ability to see the future. As a pretrans growing up in his father's war camp he was tormented and abused. As a member of the Brotherhood, he has no interest in love or emotion, only the battle with the Lessening Society. But when a mortal injury puts him in the care of human surgeon, Dr. Jane Whitcomb compels him to reveal his inner pain and taste true pleasure for the first time-until a destiny he didn't choose takes him into a future that cannot include her...

Lisa's Review - 4.5 out of 5 stars

After feeling a tiny but let down by book 4 in the series, I had high hopes that this book was going to raise the bar back up to the standards of the first few books, and thankfully, it was so close...I was a little let down by one point, which I will get to later...but for now, the Black Dagger Brotherhood series is almost back to its best.

Book 5 takes us into the world of Vishous, who for the past few books has been struggling with his feelings for Butch, the cop who quickly became Vishous' closest friend and in his dreams, maybe more. All that changes though, when after being seriously injured leads Vishous to end up in hospital under the care of doctor Jane.

As well as seeing Vishous struggle to deal with his feelings for Jane while the original plan is to erase her memories of him to allow her to continue leading her life, a life that doesn't include vampires, we also get flash backs to when Vishous was a pretrans, and the horrific start to his vampire life which helps us to understand him even more. The horrific life Vishous led under the control of his father, The Bloodletter, is bad enough, until he then learns the identity of the mother he never knew, and the plans she has for his future, which make his love for Jane even more out of reach. Until one of his Brothers makes the ultimate sacrifice for him. Which leads to an eye watering turn of events.

I was enjoying the whole book and glad that the series had picked up from the last book, but the ending of Lover Unbound was highly emotional, with a somewhat shocking twist that left me crying, and that speechless at the turn of events.

Another part of the story that I enjoyed was the fact there was slightly more focus on John Matthews, the pretran with no voice. He has been included in the last few books, but for me, not enough, so to have even more of his story in this book was great, and I really hope he gets to the focus in one of the books in the series soon.

Okay, so for the reason this didn't quite hit 5 stars... as with all the other vampires so far, Vishous meets this strong, independent woman. I like these women, they don't come across as needy or weak. But as the story goes on, that is exactly what Jane becomes, and it is disappointing. And Bella, Zsadist's mate, comes across that way, too, even though she is pregnant and the risk of losing a vampire baby is high, she came across as a kickass vampire and now she just seems a little wet! I was loving these women who were tough enough to take on these great big hulking vampires, and even had hopes that maybe at some point there would be a separate book that focused on these strong women, so hopefully in the coming books these women seem to toughen up again!

The Last Runaway Review

The Last Runaway By Tracy Chevalier

download

In New York Times bestselling author Tracy Chevalier’s newest historical saga, she introduces Honor Bright, a modest English Quaker who moves to Ohio in 1850, only to find herself alienated and alone in a strange land. Sick from the moment she leaves England, and fleeing personal disappointment, she is forced by family tragedy to rely on strangers in a harsh, unfamiliar landscape.

Nineteenth-century America is practical, precarious, and unsentimental, and scarred by the continuing injustice of slavery. In her new home Honor discovers that principles count for little, even within a religious community meant to be committed to human equality.

However, drawn into the clandestine activities of the Underground Railroad, a network helping runaway slaves escape to freedom, Honor befriends two surprising women who embody the remarkable power of defiance. Eventually she must decide if she too can act on what she believes in, whatever the personal costs.

A powerful journey brimming with color and drama, The Last Runaway is Tracy Chevalier’s vivid engagement with an iconic part of American history
Claire's Review 3 of 5 Stars

Firstly, thank you to Harper Collins for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.

The last Runaway is a nice story about the life of Honor Bright, it is a historical novel set in the 1850s. It was a well written story but something just didnt click for me. I like to feel I can connect to the main characters in some way and I just felt distant and at times dislike towards Honor. She seems very dull in places and also very judgemental and critical. I also found the storyline very repetitive.

However the book is not all bad! it is well written enough to keep your reading and I found finding out about the Quaker community and the slavery at the time. There was just something missing for me in this book which i cant quite put my finger on.

Skin Deep Beta Review

Skin Deep (Eternal Forces #1)Skin Deep by Megan D. Martin

Book Synopsis

Kiera hates being overweight and hides behind thick layers of clothing. One night, her friends present an opportunity that seems impossible to believe. With a single spell, she can have the thin physique she's always coveted.

But all magic comes with a price: no sex or she'll revert back to her old body. Kiera accepts the cost. It's not like she has men lined up at her door. Obeying this one tiny rule isn't difficult at all—until the night she meets Cain, a were-tiger and a soldier with the Eternal Forces.

When a slew of unexplained murders forces Kiera and Cain together, they'll have to face the horrors of their pasts. Will Kiera realize she is worth more than her outward appearance? Or will she make the wrong the choice and lose everything—including her life?

Shona's review 5 of 5 stars

So a while ago I hosted a cover reveal for Skin Deep and there was just something about the blurb that begged for my attention. This book literally begged me to read it. I had been talking with some other bloggers on Facebook who had also shared the cover reveal and the author mentioned that the book would be ready for Beta readers soon and I remember joking that I would love to volunteer. At the time I assumed she would already have a team ready and waiting so I was surprised when she said she'd love to take me up on my offer. A few months later and here I am, having just finished reading this book and pretty much the only coherent thought going through my head is Wow!

I loved Kiera, right from the very first page. That first chapter was horrific but it gave us a such an insight into Kiera's life at that point that it was invaluable. I know some people may feel that Kiera's reactions to her body are over the top extreme, but I think maybe some people are more comfortable with the way they look/feel. Not everyone has that and some of us have no reason to feel that way. Kiera however has every reason to feel that way. Ever since her mom died she has had people telling her she's fat, mentally abusing her at every turn. And then she ends up with a guy like Roth,  who not only mentally abuses her, but physically too. Now Kiera has not just her size to deal with, but the daily reminders in the scars on her body. To be given the chance to get away from the thing you feel has caused you so much pain, has held you back, I think most of us would take it if given the chance, I admire Kiera for taking the risk. For trying to make her life better. For trying to be happy.

Cain grated on me the first time we met. I rolled my eyes and inwardly groaned at the over the top Alpha male bedding every female that crosses his path. I remember thinking 'good luck trying to tame that beast'. Well Martin doesn't just succeed at taming him, she does it in such a way that he doesn't come across as being pussy whipped, it doesn't ever feel forced and leaves the reader (or at the very least this one) with a very attractive Alpha male who cares deeply and wants to protect the object of his desire.

I'm not going to say much more because I don't want to spoil it for anyone and I honestly don't know if any of it will change between now and the final edits. I will finish up by saying i genuinely cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

Claire's review 5 of 5 Stars
Wow where do I start. Firstly a huge thank you to Rene Folsom for providing me with a copy of Shuttered Affections. I am already a huge fan of Rene's and each new book I think surely she can't top the last and get better! But boy does she prove me wrong every time!

Shuttered affections had me hooked! I read the entire book in one sitting and promised myself I would re read it slower before this review......which I tried to do.....and failed. I just couldn't not put the book down and it was just as good as the first time! I felt drawn into Julia's story and her relationship with Aiden and cannot wait to see how this progresses in the rest of the cornerstone series!

In fact my only complaint is that i was so hooked and read it so fast and I now have to wait for book 2! :)

Excerpt

The electricity in the air told me he was coming closer. Footsteps, barely audible, whispered along the floor behind me.

My hands fumbled for the canister. I needed to pop the top off and carefully remove the film.

I could feel him close behind me. He was really close. As I successfully removed the film from its canister, I could feel him move even nearer. I felt his breath by my ear and heard him gasp slightly as a curl fell forward and must have brushed against his face.

I was just about done putting the film around the reel when I felt his finger slowly push the tendril of hair back behind my ear.

I deftly finished coiling the film and placed it in the developing tank. Once the lid was in place, effectively protecting my film from light exposure, I spoke.

“Okay. I’m good.” My voice was barely a whisper. I didn’t seem to have the strength to muster any more volume.

“Mmhmm…” he moaned in my ear. “Your hair smells divine, Angel.”

I felt his hand brush against the back of my ear and push my hair to the side, exposing my neck to his touch. I felt his breath on me and, suddenly, it was as if all the oxygen in the room had been used up completely. I couldn’t breathe.

“You’re so beautiful, even in darkness,” he said adoringly and I felt the tickle of his breath on my neck.

Warmth sizzled through my abdomen, my clit pulsed, and my nipples hardened. His words whispered through my ears, seductive and alluring.

His body pressed against my back and he wrapped his hands around my waist, sticking his thumbs into the waistband of my jeans. His fingers gently touched my hipbones. His touch made me arch my back and tilt my head to rest on his shoulder.

His lips, hot as fire, brushed along the column of my neck. I wanted to turn my body and wrap myself around him, but he held me in place.

“Aiden, I thought we were going to try and behave ourselves,” I said breathlessly as he continued his assault on my neck.

“I don’t care,” he mumbled, clearly aware he was melting me to the bone.

Animalistic lust took us over. Grabbing my shoulders, he quickly turned me so my chest pressed against his and shoved my back up against the wall with just enough force to tell me he was turned on as much as I was.

As if attempting to control his urges, he let go of me and I felt his hands press against the wall on either side of my head, just above my shoulders.

“Oh, God. I want to touch you,” he said hoarsely. “I want to touch every inch of you.”

I could tell his lips were so close. The tip of his nose brushed against mine, causing me to involuntarily tilt my head upward, attempting to close the gap between our lips. As if he sensed me pouncing, he turned his chin up, causing me to meet the scruffy facial hair on his jaw.

Unable to see my prey, I reached out and dug my nails into his strong back, pulling him closer to me and lightly sinking my teeth into his jaw. If he wasn’t going to offer his lips to me, I was going to take whatever part of him I could get between my teeth.

As if on cue, a rumble echoed from his throat. His hands snaked down my body, grabbing my ass and pulling me against him.

The move was so bold; I thought for sure he was going to kiss me. Instead, he tilted his head up, exposing his neck to my nibbling assault.

His body, hot and hard, pressed me against the cold, concrete wall. His hands, still on my ass, lifted me slightly so I was forced to the tips of my toes.

I felt his mouth on my neck again and couldn’t help voicing my pleasure.

“Oh, Aiden. Kiss me now,” I begged. I didn’t know why I had to beg this man to press his lips against mine. I only knew I needed more. So much more.

“Tell me, Juliana. Do you want me?” he asked softly, caressing my ear with his lips.

“Christ, yes!” My answer left my mouth before I even had time to process what I was saying. I was quite simply speechless.

“Then you shall have me… eventually.” With that, he let go, opened the door, and walked out.

I was left standing there, completely overwhelmed, and aching with desire.

Book Synopsis

Some people are blessed to find that one certain person who completes them.

Wrynn’s yesterdays were what others only dream of having. She and Tripp were the best of friends before they even thought about love. They had the fairy tale life where ‘like’ turns into ‘love’, and ‘love’ becomes ‘happily ever after’.

What happens when life conspires against you, and snatches your soul mate from your arms? …only her forever love ended much too soon.

Broken beyond her own ability to repair, Wrynn boxes up her grief and attempts to raise her three girls the best she can on her own. As time slowly passes, Wrynn relives her life with Tripp while struggling most days to get out of bed. She is reminded of him at every turn.

How do you set your grief and anguish aside? How do you pick up the shattered pieces, put those pieces back together again, and try to move on? Wrynn tries to find the joy in life every single day through her daughters, family, and friends. Her twin brother Liam has dedicated himself to helping Wrynn put her life back together after losing his own love. On the other hand, her mother-in-law lives to torment her at every turn. Wrynn can't even find a chance to breathe, much less a desire to somehow search for her tomorrow.

Excerpt

“Just once Tripp, just once I would like for you to hold me and kiss me like you can’t get enough of me. Just once.”

Before I could even take a breath in, Tripp had snatched me up off the seat and into his arms. He ran his fingers through my hair and when he reached the back of my head, he pressed me forward so that our mouths met. The instant my lips touched his, I melted against him and kissed him with every fiber of my soul.

Author Bio

If you are reading this, I think you should know that "About me" sounds so very pretentious to me. I guess that is what I am supposed to write about, so here it goes!

Kathryn is a simple country girl who likes to spend time with her hubba, hunka hubby, her three kids and her friends. She loves to cook and really loves to eat! During the spring and summer, you will more than likely find her outside puttering around in her garden. When the veggies start coming in, she will probably be sweating over a hot canner in the kitchen, canning all the goodies she is blessed with. Kathryn likes to hike and go camping, and as a Girl Scout leader, she gets to do this pretty often! On cold winter nights, you will probably find her wrapped in a warm blanket, lost in a good book, while sitting in her rocking chair on the front porch!

Kathryn was born and raised in North Carolina, and while she loves to travel, she can't imagine ever leaving the mountains that she has come to call home. Not a day goes by that Kathryn doesn't thank God for abundantly blessing her. He has been so good to her, and she is very grateful. She holds Jeremiah 29:11 very close to her heart and believes it with every fiber of her being. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Kathryn loves flip flops, chocolate, sweet tea and dirt between her toes. As far back as she can remember, she's had a book in her hand. Reading has carried her to places she will never go. It has introduced her to people that she will never meet. When life is great and when it is rough, she's always been able to find a book to carry her through. She finally decided to write down some of the stories in her head (yes, be scared) and heart after dawdling around and wasting years dreaming. She hopes you enjoy reading those stories as much as she loves writing them!

Excerpt

Guilt makes my hands shake, so I press them to the car’s window to hold them steady and bow my head. “This is just so hard. I’m trying to be understanding.”

Ethan’s warm hands cover mine, and he whispers in my ear, “It drives me nuts to see you with another guy, even if it’s just something as simple as riding together to play soccer. I know exactly what he’s thinking. I know, because I can’t help but want you more when I see you all sweaty and running your heart out.” He pauses to press his lips to my throat, murmuring, “Mmmm, salty and sweet.”

Tilting my head, I give him access to my neck. I absorb the feel of his hard frame behind me, holding me up and supporting me, even for a few seconds. This isn’t full on intimacy. At least I tell myself that as my body yields to his.

“I miss touching you so much.” His lips slide up my throat and his fingers fold tight around mine, locking our left hands against the cold glass. I swallow hard, my heart hammering when his other hand falls to my hip to press me closer.

Running hard has intensified Ethan’s appealing smell. Or maybe it’s hearing him say how much it bothers him to see me with someone else that amps my attraction. All I know is…I don’t notice the cold air or the thin layer of snow beneath our feet. His heat and intensity seduce me, making me want him so much my insides quiver and my nerves tingle with excitement.

I press my free hand to his jaw, enjoying the feel of his five o’clock shadow against my fingers. Ethan whispers my name and slides his hand up my shirt. My muscles flex as his fingertips trace slowly along my belly until they come to rest over my thrumming heart, and his thumb slides under my bra clasp. Skin to skin. Warmth melding into warmth. “My heart,” he rasps before kissing my jaw and pressing his fingers closer, locking me against him.

Teaser

He didn't know if he'd misread the signals. He didn't think so. Only one way to find out, he thought. Logan came up behind her, pressing his body firmly against hers. She felt one hand cover her hip, while the other reached up to brush the dark mass of hair away from her neck. His movements were slow, deliberate. The pressure of his fingers on her hip intensified as he trailed soft, whisper-like kisses across the nape of her neck, and down to her shoulder. He couldn't say why exactly, but the sudden tremble he felt course through her gave him the tiniest bit of satisfaction. She turned, breaking contact between their bodies for only a few brief seconds. Oh yeah, this is exactly where I want her, Logan thought. Pressed against him, her breath catching softly in her throat and her body humming, she was his to do with as he pleased. He placed both hands on her hips and held her there. He massaged gently, yet deeply, and Brooke could do nothing else but give in and accept the wonderful sensation of his highly skilled hands on her body. Her own hands came up to rest lightly against the broad expanse of his chest. The hard muscle beneath her fingers thrilled her. She loved the feel of him. She always had. His lips, warm and seductive, continued their assault down the long, slender column of her throat. Her skin was so tender there. He changed direction, working his way toward her ear. When he caught the sensitive flesh of her lobe gently between his teeth, a low, husky moan escaped her lips. God, that feels so good. Brooke heard the words echo through her head, over and over, until she could think of nothing else beyond that moment.

Author Pic

My name is Tara and I am a wife, mother, lifelong reader, and author of Contemporary Romance fiction. I live in beautiful Upstate New York in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, on Great Sacandaga Lake.

I've been reading romance novels since I first picked up one of my mother's paperbacks at the age of 16, and writing since I could first hold a pencil. I have always had a vivid imagination and I love creating characters and stories that readers can fall in love with. My debut novel, entitled Second Chance at Love (Book One of The MacKenna Born & Bred Trilogy), is the stormy, sexy and sweet story of Logan and Brooke and I can't wait to share it with you.

I have many goals, and one of them is to visit Italy with my amazing husband, Matthew, whose family comes from the Old Country. I have two sons ~ Braden, 10 and Jordan, 9, who are the loves of my life. They are very bright and very clever and keep me on my toes! In my spare time (what is that, really?!), I enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Synopsis

coverWhen Sophie moves to Boston to get away from the people who ridiculed her for her psychic talents, she wants to start fresh. But when a demon attacks her study group at the library, she has no choice but to reveal her abilities to warn the others.

She learns the attacks won't stop until she's dead. To stay alive she joins forces with the other students and a secret society that has battled the demons for centuries.

The last thing she wants to do is be a pawn in the war of good and evil. When her visions start showing events from a past life, she can't ignore the connections it shows. She has no choice but to acknowledge the bonds that tie her to the other students, even if some of them refuse, to have the strength to defeat the demon that hunts them down.

Will she survive long enough to stop the demons from destroying everything and everyone she loves?

Excerpt:
Something wrapped around the collar of Sophie’s jacket and lifted her easily into the air.
Cairo held her and Lilli up, one in each hand, like they were both a sack of feathers. Her unblinking eyes settled on Sophie. “You’re so powerful. How does a human become this way?”
Out of the corner of her eye, Sophie saw Morgan struggle to pick Katie up. When she realized that wouldn’t work, Morgan dragged her gently out of the way.
Sophie balled up her fist and swung.
Cairo dodged it effortlessly. Her musical laugh grated on Sophie’s nerves. “You can’t possibly think it’d be that easy?” Cairo tilted her head to the side and watched the brightness of color surrounding Sophie. No longer in control over her actions, she released Lilli to concentrate fully on the light. “You have such an aura. So much light. I miss that, you know. I may keep you for myself.”
Tristan moved from Augustus to two of Cairo’s entourage.
A sudden waft of heat hit them. Cairo cried out.
Sophie hit the dirt and rolled. The air pushed out of her lungs and she coughed. When she turned on her back and lifted herself on her elbows, she gasped.
Flames covered Cairo. Her glowing skin blistered.
Aidan forced more heat into the fire that engulfed her.

Author Bio:

I'm a multitasking mom of four. When not writing/doing laundry/changing diapers, I like to catch up on episodes of Supernatural and Castle. If you can't find me in front of the computer, I'm most likely watching my DVR.

I've been writing since the first grade, where I wrote a one page story titled "If I was an Indian". My warrior husband was going to be the best hunter, I was going to live in the best teepee and apparently, I was having an affair with the Chief. Racy, I know.

Of the things I'm addicted to sweet tea, movies, and books top the list. My favorite authors include Nora Roberts, Lauren Kate, Kresley Cole, and Gena Showalter. Few of many I love.

Thanks so much for reading!

Sam :)
